The Midwest Province Names New Director of Communications

The Midwest Augustinians are excited to announce that Kathleen Lynch (Kennedy) will be named the new Director of Communications of the Midwest Province office. Kathleen joined the Midwest Province in December 2021 as the Manager of Communications. The current Director, Sean Reynolds, will be departing in September 2022.

Sean has been the Director of Communications of the Midwest Augustinian Province and the digital marketing of the Villanova-based Augustinian Vocations office since January 2017. Sean relocated to Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife in June. He will continue to work remotely with Kathleen as she transitions into the Director position and begins searching for a new Manager of Communications.

Kathleen brings with her over 7 years of marketing/communications experience and a bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications from Webster University, St. Louis. She first began working for the Augustinians as Director of Communications at Providence Catholic High School. Prior to joining the Province office, Kathleen served as the Communications Specialist at Leyden High School District 212 and previously held Director of Communication roles at Saint James School/Parish and St. Louis Magazine. 

Kathleen is a 2011 graduate of Providence Catholic High School and currently resides in Evergreen Park, IL with her husband, Patrick Lynch, is a 2008 graduate of St. Rita High School.

The Augustinian values run strong within her family, as her older brothers Michael and Ryan Kennedy also attended St. Rita High School ('09) and Providence Catholic ('06). Her mother, Laura Kennedy, is in her 11th year of working in the business office at St. Rita High School. Her father, Jeff Kennedy was just recently named the Director of Security at St. Rita High School.
