Elected in 2010 to the privilege and challenge of serving as the Prior Provincial of the Midwest Augustinians, Fr. Bernie Scianna, O.S.A., with the prayers and support of a strong team of Augustinian and lay volunteers, benefactors, and friends, established an energetic plan and challenging goals for the Midwest Province. These objectives focused on increased vocations, care of the retired men, formation of future Augustinians, evangelization of and ministry to the people of Peru, and the responsible stewardship of resources, gifts, and income. Dedicated and caring friends and benefactors assisted the Augustinians to achieve much and serve greatly in our history and have enabled us to meet the challenges of helping those we serve to live out their faith in an increasingly secular world.
As we move on to the next phase of our growth and ministry to God's people, we ask for your input as the active involvement of lay collaborators is of great importance and value to our collective future. Please join Fr. Bernie and some of his fellow Augustinians and young men in formation as he reviews the progress of the last few years and shares with you ideas for the next few years. Please come and listen, engage with us as friends, and share your ideas and questions.
